FACT: An individual doesn’t need to be moved across state lines to be a victim of sex trafficking

It is a common misconception that for a person to be trafficked they must be removed from their state and brought to a new one in which to be trafficked. Here is a chart showing the difference between victims of trafficking and smuggling. The chart demonstrates that a person can be trafficked without being moved across state lines.
